Recent Fundraising and Community Building Events
Library Book Drive and Fundraiser. Our Library Committee led a campaign to support our library renovation, featuring a community book drive where donors could purchase titles directly, contribute funds, and celebrate literacy alongside local authors at intimate book events.
Fall Carnival. We launched our inaugural Fall Carnival in 2024 on Pear Tree's campus with plans to make it an annual tradition. Students enjoyed classic carnival activities like games and face painting while exploring their entrepreneurial spirit through student-run vending stands—a perfect way to energize the start of each school year.
Sneaker Prom/Parents Night Out. For two consecutive years, we've transformed an evening into an adults-only celebration featuring DJ entertainment, live music, stand-up comedy, gourmet food, and a full bar—all made possible by dedicated parent volunteers. This beloved event has become a cornerstone for building lasting friendships within our parent community.
Spring Walk-A-Thon. Pear Tree's signature Spring Walk-A-Thon combines fitness, fun, and fundraising as one of our most cherished annual traditions. Students rally support from family and community members, then put their pledges into action by completing laps in this healthy, spirited fundraising celebration.
