Our Initiatives: Parent-Powered Progress
Building our school's future together, one project at a time
At Pear Tree, extraordinary things happen when passionate parents take the lead. Our initiatives are entirely parent-driven projects that emerge from our community's vision for what our school can become. The FTC is here to provide support, resources, and coordination, but the real magic happens when families step forward with ideas, energy, and commitment to make positive changes for our children.
Every initiative you see below started with a parent (or group of parents) who saw an opportunity to enhance our school community. Whether it's improving our physical spaces, expanding educational offerings, or strengthening our sense of community, these projects represent the collective power of families working together toward shared goals.
We believe every parent has something valuable to contribute - whether that's organizing skills, professional expertise, grant writing experience, connections in the community, or simply enthusiasm and time. No contribution is too small, and every effort makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
